Notes to Myself
These are a few notes to myself about things that I wish someone would’ve told me before and things I’ve learnt through life experiences.
- Have a passion for something and make it your driving force for excellence in this world
- Priorities change and so do people
- Falling in love is easy when you’re young but falling out of it is easier
- Sometimes you are in someone’s life for a set amount of time to guide them or change them for the better after which you have to depart from their lives
- Your family will always be that rebound relationship that you need when things go south with someone else
- Egocentricism is not something to be ashamed about
- Do things that you love by any and all means
- Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re incapable of accomplishing something and if they do, show them what you’re capable of. It feels good to prove people wrong this way
- There are bad people in this world but there are good people as well, and they outnumber the bad people
- You should be a God-loving person, not a God-fearing one
- Only your parents love you selflessly. For anyone else, they always have their reasons to love you
- Having a Scientific temperament is a must
- You learn only through experiences and as you age, so don’t worry or stress too much about being left behind
- Respect those who have earned it
